DocSolid KwikTag for Worldox Gives Law Firms the Power of Enterprise Document Scanning with Market-Leading Document Imaging

Las Vegas – ILTA 2010 – Aug. 23, 2010 – DocSolid, makers of KwikTag document imaging for law firms, together with World Software Corporation®, the company behind the award-winning Worldox® Document Management System (DMS) software, today announced the integration of their products.

Worldox customers can now add KwikTag as an enterprise scanning platform and capture client matter paper documents directly into Worldox electronic folders.

The announcement was made at DocSolid’s booth number 530 at ILTA 2010, the leading tradeshow for legal IT professionals. In order to optimize efficiency and enhance performance, law firms are looking to fully unify their
repository of client information. This means moving paper from the file room, where it is difficult to access and costly to store, into electronic folders, where is becomes part of a secured, easy-to-access client record.

DocSolid has integrated KwikTag seamlessly into the Worldox user screens, so that adding scanned paper documents to client matter folders is part of the Worldox standard workflow. Paper documents are profiled directly into Worldox, just like emails or Word documents. A KwikTag bar code label is then attached to the document, linking it to its Worldox profile and client matter folder. At the multifunction printer or scanning device, users scan single documents or stacks of documents with the touch of a single button. Scanned documents are OCR’d, converted to searchable PDF files, and automatically placed in the Worldox repository. Automatic audits during and after the scanning ensure that each document is filed properly.
